Poker is a card game where players place bets using chips that have been assigned values before the start of the game. There are whole books dedicated to this subject, and it is important for any poker player to develop the ability to read facial expressions, body language and other tells. This is especially important in online poker where players rely on analyzing the way others hold and move their chips.
Once the first betting round in a poker hand is complete, the dealer will deal three cards face up on the table, called the flop. These are community cards that can be used by any of the players still in the hand.
After the flop betting round ends, the fourth community card will be dealt to the table, called the turn. This will allow more players to call or raise and make a decision about whether to continue in the hand or fold.
