ITT: Villains the author had to come up with because the series went on longer than he had planned.
itagaki is just stupid, he can not come up with something else other than baki main story line, musashi is ok
People thinking that Juha Bach was pulled out at the last minute
There were plans for Juha Bach as far back around the time the Hogyoku was transforming Aizen. Aizen was talking about Ichigo and his past, almost about to talk about the fact that he's half-quincy, half-shinigami, that's because Aizen SAW what happened in the past that led to Ichigo's conception. That past was revealed in a flashback in this current saga of Bleach. Oh, and there's also the resemblence between Ichigo's fake Zangetsu and Juha Bach. That was foreshadowing as well, and even other people at the time noticed how uncanny Juha Bach and Fake Zangetsu looked.
Not only that, but there were still unanswered questions needed to be solved, such as the Zero Squad and the Soul King.
Only those who think "LOLBLEACHKUBOTROLLSUSALLTHETIMESORANDUMB" will think that Juha was pulled out like Cell.
Cell was something that was VERY obviously created to extend the series. There was absolutely NO foreshadowing whatsover about him. Dr.Gero also had absolutely no foreshadowing as well. Infact, it was stated at first that Dr.Flappe was the creator of Android 8, but the Daizenshuu tried to sorta retcon it by saying Dr.Gero and Dr.Flappe were collegues.
You know kubo said in an interview he writes his story as he goes right? Just because he retcons shit doesn't mean he's a master planner
Baki lost steam after the Prisoner's arc, Baki Dou has been okay so far, but I wish Itagaki would do something else, there's nothing more to explore in that world.
Cell was created because Toriyama's editor thought an old man and a gay clown make shitty villains
then he thought two teenagers make shitty villains
then he thought Cell's first two forms didn't look cool enough
Toriyama usually just finished his storyboards on the evening before the deadline and played videogames the rest of the week
But Cell was really good villain. Unlike that Buu shit.
Bleach was always supposed to have a final quincy arc, though
Cell was really good villain
You know kubo said in an interview he writes his story as he goes right
Actually all interviews points that he had the global plot since day one, and he only invent the filling parts to go from reveal to reveal. which is the norm in manga.
yhwach was planned since the ss arc
wasn't negima supposed to have "ended" like 3 time in the course of the actual story? Pretty sure each big arc finale was supposed to be a definitive ending but the editor would just push for more content since it sold like hotcakes.
All your 'foreshadowing' are from the fake karakura town arc or later arcs, when it was clear as daylight that kubo was pulling bullshit retcons one after another
Cell was really good villain
previous 2 villains out to destroy earth and destroy earth and some other worlds respectively
finally tone it down a bit, thank god, these two only out to conquer the world/kill goku. Have weird designs but still a good change of pace.
they aren't the real villains, turns out the real villains are some teenage cyborgs and this tall guy.
they're even more relaxed do the majority of what they do for the fuck of it
nope here's a new villain, some bug guy that eats the actually interesting characters and becomes less interesting as he transforms
His motivation is
to destroy the fucking universe
The worst villain, so fucking bad.
@Garbage Can Lid
Now that I think about it, were any characters in DBZ complex?
Piccolo is the only one who even gets close.
Yhwach is "Zangetsu". He was planned all along.
If you didn't notice, almost every subsequent Bleach are after Karakura was modeled after plotlines established during the first arc; including the Shinigami/Quincy conflict.
Not to say that every detail was planned for the beginning, but each element was established well before the major arcs (Soul Society, Hueco Mundo, ect.)
They were probably planned, but Kaguya was definitely a last minute thing.
@Garbage Can Lid
Cell was out to destroy the universe? I only remember him wanting to kill the Z-Fighters in the Cell Games just to prove he was better, then killing the rest of humanity. I don't recall any interstellar travel he may have planned
It can also be seen during Cell's confrontation with Gohan when he affirms his true purpose: the annihilation of anything he considers imperfect, a category in which he places everyone and everything but himself.
I am not looking through the whole 2+ hour fight with gohan just to find his monologue, but yeah.
It's sad that bleach fans really believe that Kubo had it all planned out from the start. It's abundantly clear that he leaves random points that can be expanded upon in the future without knowing what to do with them, then makes something up later on to address these points. It can be treated as "foreshadowing" but he had no plan for what he was foreshadowing until later.
The end result is that, while everything is technically consistent, the narrative is an unbalanced mess with tons of useless characters.
Just like your post.
Luckily a post doesn't need to tell a good story.
Oh but it does, user. It does.
Luckily I'm not being paid to post then.
Didn't Fist of the North Star have a villain that was literally just Raoh's evil(er) twin?
for dragon ball wouldnt it be everyone after emperor pilaf?
The whole Kingdom of Shura arc was tacked on and unnecessary, but content-wise it wasn't too bad.
All this talk about Cell being a series extender.
Not one quip about the filler that was Majin Buu.
even this this game was a fucking travesty it still managed to be better than the Alexanders match
If only you were born a mangaka instead of a faggot
Maybe Matsuena felt bad about making Saiga an evil guy therefore all the bad deeds went to this scarecrow.
That was a gigantic cop-out
It was some time before this.
Its true tho. Bleach was planned to the very end in rough sketches.
Baki isn't fair, people basically begged for a new comic even though it was over.
